Staying true to YMC’s intrinsic style, the spring summer 2016 collection brings together an eclectic colour palette, combined with fabric innovations and classic silhouettes.

Featuring a combination of oriental work wear, boiler suits and wide legged pants. Woven and longline shirts are present, representing YMC signature soft tailoring. Colourways include rich indigo, jade, navy and black paired with subtle sage, mid blue and dusty pink shades alongside iconic prints including a bold cloud dot print.

Fabrications have evolved for the season to include indigo brocade cotton while pieces include proofed linens paired with sumptuous suede tailored pieces. The collection also features the cotton and linen bonded with metal which can be manipulated to form new structures and shapes.

Other introductions include a luxurious suede tailored bike suite and iconic 1970s motorcross influenced jackets, while the accessories feature stylised Bowler hats produced by British milliners, Christys’. Trend-led footwear styles compliment the core clothing collection and feature a cut away desert boot, velcro punk sandal as well as work shoes in leather and canvas.

YMC Head of Design, Fraser Moss commented ‘Because YMCs collections tend to be quite eclectic, SS16 has been very much about the art of creating coherence in a chaos of ideas’.
